Simple definitions: swingers have sexual contact with people other than their normal sexual partner. Nudists enjoy being naked.

It’s true that many nudists are swingers and many swingers are nudists. If you’re comfortable getting naked in front of strangers and having sex, you’re probably going to be O.K. with being nude in front of strangers when you’re not having sex, so the two often go hand-in-hand.
But…don’t make assumptions!
Nudists come in all types, however, and nudist camps, clubs and organizations in all reality have nothing to do with sex at all. Nudists enjoy the freedom of being able to go without clothes, and nudist camps spread across the world allow people of all shapes and sizes to ‘let it all hang out’ without the idea of sex being introduced (there are even some family-oriented nudist camps that allow all ages, so you can be sure there’s no sex going on there just because people are nude!)
We have a local nudist campground in our area that’s pretty typical…many of the people who go there are swingers, but the swinging fun is limited to what goes on behind closed camper doors…there are strict rules against sexual activity in public. There is a weekly dance that is pretty much an off-premise swinger party…people get together for the dance, and head back to the campers and tents for after-party fun. There are also some non-swinging nudists at the camp that don’t participate in swinging activities at all…so remember, just because someone is a nudist doesn’t mean they also are a swinger!
